Touch Me

Touch me like he never did before
Like I always wanted to be touched by him
Like the touch, I now can only dream

rebound

it feels good, tastes like how a rebound should
me in your bed with only your plaid shirt on, thinking of him
you lying in your Calvin Kleins, dreaming of her

Fiction, Poetry Posted onSeptember 1, 2020August 31, 2020

summer getaway

we were our summer getaway
we made us laugh but we never stayed
driving all day, kissing on the driveway
but breaking up by nightfall

Quotes:

“Love hurts the same whether you’re sixteen or twenty-six.”

“When you ignored my texts and missed my calls that night, / that was what freedom from you tasted like.”

“If it was love, it would have been everything we had hoped for / but it wasn’t, so we both had found the other at fault.”

“I’m happier now, learned a lesson from that unholy week / after finding a part of me that you didn’t break.”
